DIRECTIONS

The Park is located in historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina, between Boone and Banner Elk.

From Boone:
Go west on Highway 105 South toward Banner Elk. Approximately 2.5 miles outside of Boone, immediately after the bridge over the Watauga River, turn right at the traffic light onto Broadstone Road (follow signs for Valle Crucis). The Ham Shoppe deli will be on your right at this intersection. Continue on Broadstone Road for 2.8 miles.

The Park is located on the right, behind the Mast General Store Annex (a two-story white building with a red roof). The Park’s gravel driveway is just before the Mast Store’s parking lot. Look for the wooden bear sitting on top of a tree stump in the middle of the driveway.

From Banner Elk:
From downtown Banner Elk, go east on Highway 194 North toward Valle Crucis for approximately 7.4 miles until you come to a T-intersection in front of Valle Crucis Elementary School. Turn right. In 0.1 miles, the Park will be on your left, just past the Mast General Store Annex (a two-story white building with a red roof). The Park’s gravel driveway is just after the Mast Store’s parking lot. Look for the wooden bear sitting on top of a tree stump in the middle of the driveway.

From Tynecastle
Go east on Highway 105 North toward Boone. In 8 miles, turn left at the traffic light onto Broadstone Road (follow signs for Valle Crucis).
